Church Administration


The leader of Trentham Methodist Church is the Minister. The church is managed by a Church Council, comprising the Minister, the stewards and other church office holders, and a number of members of the congregation.

Church stewards are responsible for the practical aspects of running a church, such as looking after visiting preachers, making sure the offering is taken and announcements are made. Stewards also foster unity within the church and ensure new Synod or Church Council policies and decisions are acted upon and communicated to the congregation.
