Over 70kg of goods donated to Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank
Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank has thanked Trentham Methodist Church goers for our generous food donations recently. In September, we donated 71.15kg of food items to feed people who are hungry in Stoke-on-Trent.
In a letter we received this week, they said: “As always, we are moved by the generosity of people, and we thank you for your donation.”
However, the Hanley based warehouse needs continuous donations. At the moment they are particularly short of: UHT milk, pasta sauces, tinned tuna, biscuits, mash, tinned tomatoes, fruit juice, chocolate, soup and teabags.
They have asked us to focus efforts on these items, which can be dropped-off anytime during the day at the church.
