Fourth Sunday in Advent 

The candle lit on the fourth Sunday is called the Angel’s Candle. It may be purple in colour and represents peace. We prepare for the celebration that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. In our preparations such as buying and wrapping gifts, dressing Christmas trees, fixing lights, laying tables groaning with food we might forget God also asks us to prepare the way for Christ’s return. Wow! What a promise! What a challenge!
