The Covenant Service 

At the start of the new year Methodists make a resolution at a special service. We celebrate God’s offer of a loving relationship. God is committed to us. Are we committed to God in return? We may take up this challenge by following the way of Jesus.
John Wesley (one of the founders of Methodism) saw the relationship with God in Covenant as being like a marriage between human beings on the one side and God in Christ on the other.
