Wave of Hope

Just had an email from Stefan who is part of the Campaigns Team from The Fairtrade Foundation.
In it he says:
“Leaders from some of the world's wealthiest nations will be here in the UK for the G7 summit in two weeks. With the UK government hosting these important conversations, we have a chance to share what a better future looks like for the farmers and workers we rely on. But to make that future a reality, we need to act together to show politicians we won't accept anything less than a radically fairer future.
The Wave of Hope is bringing together campaigners, charities and community groups to call for a joint effort to tackle the inseparable crises of Covid-19, the climate emergency and extreme global injustice and inequality.
By putting up homemade ‘hands’ with messages of hope in our windows, posting them online, and sharing them with world leaders, we can show that the Fairtrade movement stands united behind a future that fights poverty and injustice, provides vaccines and healthcare for all, and helps end the climate and nature crises.
You can find many hands on the Wave of Hope online gallery by just clicking here.
Once you have made some hands you can send them to hello@fairtrade.org.uk  ... and then send them to our website and they will be posted in Latest News! Fame!
