What a lovely welcome as we came into church this morning! Rev Joe is ready to welcome the congregation. Notice the last hymn number, 130. It has just got to be: 'We plough the fields and scatter, the good seed on the land.' Remember singing it at school? The refrain is: All good gifts around us Are sent from heav’n above; Then thank the Lord, oh, thank the Lord, For all His love. .. and that is what we did this morning .. as we have done for 140 years! Lots more food that will go to Foodbank at Blurton tomorrow morning. Thank you to all involved in making our Harvest Service so special. God is good .. all the time!
